Having run an on-site bookkeeping business since 2004, where the business model consisted of our bookkeepers visiting our client’s premises, we found ourselves turning away many businesses that didn’t require on-site bookkeeping due to their business size, lack of space or remote location.

After 12 months of this practice, we realised that the way people are operating their businesses is changing, with many business owners not renewing expensive leased premises to “go mobile”, and working smarter through improving internal efficiencies and getting away with a smaller work team. We realised that we would be receiving more enquiries and decided to start a remote accounts department where these businesses can take advantage of a whole accounts team without paying the substantial cost to run one.
